Medfield Soccer Goes Global

Medfield Soccer has also gone global in its reach, donating soccer balls to children in Costa Rica. Carolyn Harrity and her mom, Jane Harrity, M.D. brought the balls with them on a medical mission to Costa Rica. According to Carolyn, “there were a lot of smiles from the kids! They were so excited to receive these balls.” The children there are predominantly illegal immigrants from Nicaragua, where they have escaped from dire situations, so the living conditions are quite sparse.
